Description

Cable AVBbShv-1 4x240 power aluminum EUROPAN CABLE. AVBbShv is a power cable with aluminum conductors, polyvinyl chloride insulation and a protective coating of the BbShv type (armor is galvanized steel tape, and the protective hose is made of polyvinyl chloride plastic compound). It is intended for transmission and distribution of electricity in stationary installations at a nominal alternating voltage of 0.66 and 1 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz. Scope The durable and affordable armored cable AVBbShv is widely used for laying in the ground (in trenches). The armor protects the cable from rodents and damage by tools during earthworks. Also, AVBbShv is used in rooms, tunnels, cable ducts and shafts (except for laying in blocks), subway structures, buildings that can be partially flooded with various corrosive conditions and outdoors, if the cable is not subjected to significant tensile forces, but if there is a risk of mechanical damage during operation. It is used for electrification of private houses and summer cottages. Resistant to fire when laid alone. Construction The cable construction is based on aluminum conductive cores, single-wire and multi-wire, round or sector-shaped (class 1, 2 DSTU EN 60228). The insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride plastic with color or digital marking. The armor is made of galvanized steel tapes, applied so that the upper tape covers the gaps between the turns of the lower tape. The outer protective coating is a hose made of extruded PVC. Operation The AVBbShv cable is intended for operation exclusively in stationary power lines at temperatures from -50°C to +50°C and at relative humidity up to 98% and a temperature not higher than +35°C. Cable laying without preheating is possible at a temperature not lower than -15°C. The minimum bending radius during installation is not less than 7.5 outer cable diameters. The continuous heating temperature of the cable cores is 70°C, in emergency mode 80°C, and at short-circuit currents 160°C. The cable service life is not less than 30 years.
