Description

Control cable KVVGeng 5x1,5 EUROPAN CABLE¶¶KVVGeng is a control cable with copper conductors, polyvinyl chloride plastic insulation, a common aluminum foil shield and a non-combustible polyvinyl chloride plastic sheath.¶Field of application¶Designed for fixed connection to electrical devices, apparatuses, clamp assemblies of electrical switchgear with rated alternating voltage up to 660 V and frequency up to 100 Hz or direct voltage up to 1000 V.¶It is used for laying in rooms, channels, tunnels in the absence of mechanical stress on the cable in aggressive environments and the need to protect electrical circuits from external electric fields. The cable can be laid outdoors provided that it is protected from mechanical damage and direct sunlight.¶The index “ng” means that this cable does not support the spread of combustion, which is especially important in places with a high probability of fire and increased safety requirements.¶Construction¶Conductive conductors - copper, single-wire (class 1 of DSTU EN 60228).¶Insulation - polyvinyl chloride plastic.¶Common shield made of aluminum foil.¶Outer sheath - non-combustible polyvinyl chloride plastic.¶Operation¶The cable is designed for stationary operation at ambient temperatures from -50°C to +50°C, relative humidity up to 98% at temperatures up to 35°C, including outdoor installation.¶The cable can be laid without preheating at a temperature not lower than -15°C.¶The bending radius of the cable when laid at an ambient temperature of at least 0°C is not less than¶- three cable diameters - for cables with outer diameter up to and including 10 mm¶- four cable diameters - for cables with an outer diameter of more than 10 to 25 mm inclusive;¶- six cable diameters - for cables with an outer diameter of more than 25 mm.¶The long-term permissible heating temperature of cable cores during operation is 70°C.
