Description

KVVGEngd – Control cable with copper conductors, polyvinyl chloride insulation, a common aluminum foil screen and a polyvinyl chloride sheath that does not support combustion with reduced smoke and gas emission. Scope Intended for fixed connection to electrical appliances, devices, terminal assemblies of electrical switchgear with a rated alternating voltage of up to 660 V, a frequency of up to 100 Hz or a direct voltage of up to 1000 V. Used for laying in rooms, channels, tunnels in the absence of mechanical effects on the cable in aggressive environments and the need to protect electrical circuits from the effects of external electric fields. The cable can be laid outdoors provided that they are protected from mechanical damage and direct sunlight. The cable with the index "ngd" is most suitable for use in places with an increased probability of ignition and where special fire protection measures are required to protect people. An additional property of the cable is non-flammability and low smoke emission when exposed to high temperatures. Construction Conductors - copper, single-wire (class 1 DSTU EN 60228). Insulation - polyvinyl chloride plastic compound. General screen of aluminum foil. Outer sheath - polyvinyl chloride plastic compound, which does not support combustion with reduced smoke and gas emission. Operation The cable is designed for stationary operation at ambient temperatures from -50°C to +50°C, relative humidity up to 98% at temperatures up to 35°C, including for laying outdoors. The cable can be laid without preheating at temperatures not lower than -15°C. The bending radius of the cable when laid at an ambient temperature of not less than 0°C is not less than: - three cable diameters - for cables with an outer diameter of up to 10 mm inclusive; - four cable diameters - for cables with an outer diameter of over 10 to 25 mm inclusive; - six cable diameters - for cables with an outer diameter of over 25 mm. The permissible continuous heating temperature of the cable cores during operation is 70°C. The service life of the cable is not less than 20 years when laid in the ground (trenches) and on overpasses, provided that it is protected from direct sunlight, and 25 years when laid in rooms, canals and tunnels.
