What is the DOL 26 CA-P-18-NF-CA-SCR-B-2T capacitive sensor and what is it used for?
The DOL 26 CA-P-18-NF-CA-SCR-B-2T capacitive sensor is a specialized sensor version in a smooth housing (Ø18 mm) without thread. It is designed for mounting through sealing glands (seals) or clamping clips, which is the standard for many modern poultry feeding lines.
Technically, it is a universal SCR sensor (20-280V AC/DC) with Break (NC / Normally Closed) operating logic. It opens the motor power circuit when the feed level reaches the set point. Thanks to the smooth housing, this sensor can be easily slid deeper or higher in the hopper, precisely adjusting the physical activation level.

- Smooth Housing. The absence of thread prevents the accumulation of dirt and feed dust in the turns, which significantly simplifies washing and disinfection (highest hygiene level).
- Depth adjustment. Unlike threaded models that are fixed by nuts at one point, this sensor can be moved up and down in the mount, changing the "Stop" level without readjusting the electronics.
- Break (NC) Logic. Ensures safety: if the cable is chewed or contact is lost, the system will automatically stop, preventing feed overflow.
- Full settings (2T). Equipped with sensitivity and time delay trimmers, allowing it to be adapted to any type of feed.

This model is ideally suitable for specific mounting conditions:
- Plastic feeders with glands. Where the sensor is simply inserted into a rubber seal.
- Control pans with clips. Quick installation and removal without turning nuts.

Mounting and connection of DOL 26 CA-P-18-NF-CA-SCR-B-2T
- Fixation: Insert the sensor into the mounting hole with the seal. Adjust the height so that the active zone is at the desired filling level, and tighten the clamp/gland. Do not use nuts (there is no thread on the housing).
- Connection (2 wires): Connect the sensor in series with the load (relay coil). Remember that this is NC (Break) logic — in the absence of feed, the contact will be closed.
- Settings: Open the trimmer cover. Adjust "Delay" to avoid frequent motor start-stops, and "Sens" for the specific type of feed.
