Description

KVVGEngd – Control cable with copper cores, PVC insulation, aluminum foil overall screen and non-flammable PVC sheath with reduced smoke and gas emissions. Scope of application It is intended for fixed connection to electrical devices, devices, terminal assemblies of electrical distribution devices with a nominal alternating voltage of up to 660 V, a frequency of up to 100 Hz or a constant voltage of up to 1000 V. It is used for laying in rooms, channels, tunnels in the absence of mechanical effects on the cable in aggressive environments and the need to protect electric circuits from the influence of external electric fields. The cable can be laid in the open air, provided they are protected from mechanical damage and exposure to direct sunlight. The cable with the "ngd" index is most suitable for use in places with an increased probability of ignition and where special fire protection measures are required to protect people. An additional property of the cable is non-flammability and low smoke emission during exposure to high temperatures. Construction Current-carrying wires - copper, single-wire (class 1 DSTU EN 60228). Insulation - polyvinyl chloride plastic. General aluminum foil screen. The outer shell is polyvinyl chloride plastic, which does not support combustion with reduced smoke and gas emission. Operation The cable is designed for stationary operation at ambient temperatures from -50°C to +50°C, relative air humidity up to 98% at temperatures up to 35°C, including outdoor laying. The cable can be laid without preheating at a temperature not lower than -15°С. The bending radius of the cable when laying at an ambient temperature not lower than 0°C, not less: - three cable diameters - for cables with an outer diameter of up to 10 mm inclusive; - four cable diameters - for cables with an outer diameter of more than 10 to 25 mm inclusive; - six cable diameters - for cables with an outer size of more than 25 mm. The permissible heating temperature of the cable cores during operation was 70°C. The service life of the cable is at least 20 years when laying in the ground (trenches) and on overpasses, provided it is protected from direct sunlight, and 25 years when laying in rooms, canals and tunnels.
