Description

Fire-resistant cable (N)HXH FE180/E90 4x16 EUROPAN CABLE. VVGzngd – Power cable with copper conductors, polyvinyl chloride insulation and a flame-retardant sheath, with reduced smoke and gas emission, with filling. Scope Designed for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations at a nominal alternating voltage of 0.66; 1 kV, frequency 50 Hz. Used for laying in dry and damp production premises, on overpasses, blocks, as well as for laying outdoors, in conditions where cable sealing is required when electrical equipment is introduced. Cable with the “ngd” index is most suitable for use in places with an increased probability of ignition and where special fire protection measures are required to protect people. An additional property of the cable is non-flammability and low smoke emission when exposed to high temperatures. Construction Conductor cores – copper, single-wire or multi-wire (class 1, 2 DSTU EN 60228). Insulation – polyvinyl chloride plastic compound. Filling the space between the insulated cores. Outer sheath – polyvinyl chloride plastic compound, which does not support combustion with reduced smoke and gas emission. Operation The cable is intended for stationary operation at ambient temperatures from -50°C to +50°C, relative humidity up to 98% at temperatures up to 35°C, including for laying outdoors. The cable can be laid without preheating at temperatures not lower than -15°C. The minimum bending radius during installation must be at least 10 times the outer diameter of a single-core cable and 7.5 times the outer diameter of a multi-core cable. The permissible continuous heating temperature of the cable cores during operation is 70°C and the maximum permissible temperature during short-circuit currents is 160°C. The permissible heating of the cable cores in emergency mode is no more than 80°C.
