The VC12 RTM2410M is a specialized intelligent level sensor specifically designed for original Big Dutchman automated feeding systems. This model is a universal relay solution, capable of operating within an extremely wide voltage range from 24 to 230 Volts (AC/DC). This makes the sensor an ideal drop-in replacement for retrofitting or repairing feeding lines, regardless of the control voltage standard used on-site.

The primary advantage of the VC12 RTM2410M is its integrated adjustable Off-delay timer (up to 10 minutes) and precise sensitivity calibration. By adjusting two independent trimmers on the housing, the operator can tune the sensor for specific material types and set a delay to prevent frequent motor restarts caused by uneven feed flow or vibrations. The powerful built-in changeover relay ensures direct control of system actuators, maintaining high operational stability even in environments with heavy electrical noise.
Mounting
Installation of the Big Dutchman sensor is performed using its reinforced M30 threaded housing, ensuring excellent mechanical stability. The device is mounted in a 30.5 mm diameter hole and secured with heavy-duty plastic nuts included in the kit, preventing any displacement caused by auger vibration. The design allows for installation directly into bin walls or via specialized sealing glands for external placement. Full encapsulation of the internal electronics and an IP67 protection rating ensure reliable performance in harsh conditions characterized by high humidity and ammonia fumes.
