Description

PVSngd wire 2x2.5 EUROPAN CABLE. PVSngd is a flexible wire with twisted conductors, polyvinyl chloride insulation and a non-combustible polyvinyl chloride sheath with reduced smoke and gas emissions. Field of application Designed to connect electrical machines and appliances for household and similar applications to the electrical network with a rated alternating voltage of up to 450/750 V. It is used for connecting electrical appliances and power tools for home maintenance and repair, washing machines, refrigerators, small mechanization tools for gardening and horticulture and other similar machines and devices, and for the manufacture of extension cords. Wire with the NGD index is most suitable for use in places with an increased probability of fire and where special fire protection measures are required to protect people. An additional property of the wire is its non-flammability and low smoke emission when exposed to high temperatures. Construction Conductive conductors are copper, stranded (class 5 of DSTU EN 60228). Insulation of conductors is made of polyvinyl chloride plastic. Sheath - non-combustible polyvinyl chloride plastic with reduced smoke and gas emission. Operation The wire is designed for operation at ambient temperatures from -25°C to +40°C. The wire can be laid without preheating at a temperature not lower than -20°C. The minimum bending radius during operation must not be less than - for wires with a cross-section of conductive cores of 0.75 and 1.0 mm square - 80 mm; - for wires with a cross-section of conductive cores of 1.5 and 2.5 mm square - 120 mm; - for wires with conductor cross-section of 4.0 - 16 mm square - 200 mm. The long-term permissible heating temperature of wire conductors during operation is 70°C.
