Description

PVC – wire with twisted cores, polyvinyl chloride insulation and polyvinyl chloride sheath, flexible. Scope Designed for connecting electrical machines and appliances for household and similar use to the electrical network with a rated alternating voltage of up to 450/750 V. Used for connecting electrical appliances and power tools for home care and repair, washing machines, refrigerators, small mechanization tools for gardening and horticulture and other similar machines and devices, and for manufacturing extension cords. Design Conducting cores – copper, multi-wire (class 5 DSTU EN 60228). Core insulation and sheath made of polyvinyl chloride plastic compound. Operation The wire is designed for operation at ambient temperatures from -25°C to +40°C. The wire can be laid without preheating at a temperature not lower than -20°C. The minimum bending radius during operation must be no less than: - for wires with a cross-section of conductive cores of 0.75 and 1.0 mm sq. - 80 mm; - for wires with a cross-section of conductive cores of 1.5 and 2.5 mm sq. - 120 mm; - for wires with a cross-section of conductive cores of 4.0 - 16 mm sq. - 200 mm. The permissible continuous heating temperature of the wire cores during operation is 70°C.
